Magnificent Maths Workshop

A huge thank you to all the parents and pupils who came along to our Maths workshop!      It was wonderful to see around 80 parents come to the school to take part in Maths activities, led by pupils, and learn more about how their children learn Maths in school.

These are just a few comments from  the very positive parent feedback, about what they enjoyed or learned:-  “I thought the workshop was a great way of giving parents an idea of how to help their children with Maths at home, using number games, etc.. It also helps give parents a better understanding of what the children are doing in Maths.”

“...being able to interact with teachers and children. The wide variety of tools and educational material.”     “…how clearly the pupils explained Maths and made the activities fun!”

Cross Country Teams Are All Winners!

We are very proud of the four teams of boys and girls who represented our school at the Charleston Inter Primary Cross Country Festival. They had been practising for many weeks with Mrs. McLean and Mrs. Borrowman and it looks like all their hard work  and dedication  paid off.
